Chapter 4: Italy Italy: A Troubled Democracy
Author: Mark Gilbert

The links presented below are divided into different sections. The first section deals with national institutions, providing the basic information and necessary links to all institutions on the political level. The second set of links is helpful when in search for economic indicators. Next, a section on Italian political parties and a section on Italian news sources. Concerning these links, most websites have fairly accessible -although severely cut - English versions, however the daily news sources are mostly and mainly in Italian. The last two sections deal with country specific links, with for the devotee, also some suggestions for documentaries and movies on Italian history and politics.
