More than 6,500 alumni representing over 100 nationalities form the core of the SAIS Bologna Center community. The Alumni Relations Office fosters an ongoing relationship with alumni who live around the world.
In several major cities in Europe, the Center's alumni chapters meet for professional development, networking and fundraising purposes. In the United States Bologna alumni gather under the auspices of the Amici di Bologna (Friends of Bologna) group. In Europe alumni also meet in London under the I Bolognesi a Londra group. Alumni Chapters and contact information can be found by clicking on a country of interest in the map below. To see the JHU Alumni Chapter page, please click here.
SAIS Bologna Center alumni traditionally have strong ties to the school and the city, which they show by hosting events, speaking on career panels and during study trips, helping recruit and interview new students, raising the visibility of the Center and advising on prospective speakers, professors and supporters.
The Center's Alumni Relations, Development and Career Services Offices work in coordination in order to develop employment opportunities in Europe for current and former students and to raise funds for scholarships and other activities.
