Background and Education
Professional journalist and commentator on EU and international affairs (2005-present). Director of Studies, European Policy Centre, Brussels (2005-2010); Research fellow at the W/EU ISS (1998-2005); lecturer in West European Politics at Dickinson College, as well as Head of European Studies at CeSPI, Rome (1994-97).

Ph.D. in Contemporary History, Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa); Master in International Public Policy, Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, The Johns Hopkins University.
