Every academic year in October a five member team including a president is elected by students to serve as a liaison between the student body and the administration on behalf of the student body during the academic year. All students who wish to serve their fellow students and address changes are encouraged to become come forward during the election period in October. The student government consists of a president with four members serving as Academic, Career, Social/Cultural and Financial officers.

During the academic year, the SG also takes over activities including Happy Hours, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Holiday Party, International Dinner, End of Year Party and the Commencement.
