Nelson Graves
Nelson is a SAIS graduate and ex-journalist who returned to the Bologna Center in 2010 as director of recruitment and admissions. He attended SAIS Bologna in 1981-82 and received his master's from SAIS in Washington in 1983. He then worked for 27 years as a journalist, including 24 with Reuters in six different countries, with postings in Washington, Paris, New Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Milan and Tokyo. A dual citizen of the U.S. and France, Nelson directs the Bologna Center's strategy for attracting outstanding students who set the program apart.

Amina Abdiuahab
Amina joined the Bologna Center in 2009 after earning a law degree from the University of Kent at Canterbury and working as a recruiter. Bilingual in English and Italian, Amina has worked as a translator and teacher. As assistant to the director, she plays a key role in shaping and executing the recruitment and admissions strategy.

OUR GOAL
We aim to attract students who add value to our program and benefit from the opportunities SAIS presents. We want to help candidates take the right decision, and so we try to provide as much support and information as possible. There is no such thing as a "silly question." We understand that choosing a graduate school is a very big decision. We are here to help.
